About This Site

FixTheAngels.com exists for one reason: the Los Angeles Angels have not made the playoffs since 2014, and somebody should keep an honest record of it.

What this is

FixTheAngels.com is an independent, fan-built accountability site for the Los Angeles Angels. It is not affiliated with the Angels, Major League Baseball, or any official organization. Nobody here is on a payroll. There is no access to protect and no front office to flatter.

The premise is simple. This franchise has wasted the best player of a generation, carried one of the worst farm systems in baseball, and spent more than a decade missing October. Most coverage treats each season as a fresh start. This site treats it as a continuing case file.

No hype. No cope. Just the numbers and what they mean.

How it works

Everything on the site is built around live data. Player stats, the season record, the schedule, and the division standings update automatically from public MLB sources several times a day. When a player goes on the IL or a streak ends, the site reflects it without anyone hand-editing a number. The static pages you read are backed by a live database so the record stays current and honest.

The writing is the other half. Recaps, roadmap checkpoints, and player breakdowns are written in plain language and led by the data — short declarative sentences, concrete numbers, and no manufactured optimism. If something is going well, it gets credit. If it is not, it gets named.

What we believe

Accountability over access

The point is to keep score on the people making decisions, not to be invited to the press box. That trade is worth it.

Data first, narrative second

A take is only as good as the numbers under it. Every claim should survive a box score.

Fans deserve better, and so does the record

Eleven years of losing is a fact. Writing it down clearly is the least anyone can do.

Who's behind it

FixTheAngels.com is run by a single Angels fan, built and maintained independently. There is no staff, no sponsor calling the shots, and no agenda beyond wanting this team to be good again. If you want to reach out, the contact page is the place. If you want to see exactly what the plan looks like, start with the roadmap.
